How can we get involved?

Welcome to Españalandia

All aboard for Españalandia! Grab your passport and come with us to the imaginary land of Españalandia where the mysteries of language are revealed through fun, games, song and play!

Españalandia is a Spanish Club which provides fun, activity based Spanish sessions for Pre-school children and children in KS1.

The Club aims to introduce children to the first stages of a foreign language at an age when they soak it up naturally and effortlessly, without feeling like they are being taught.

Learning is achieved through play, and each week activities are planned to match a child’s interests and ability, introducing new words and phrases through games, songs, stories, arts & crafts etc

Throughout their time at the Club, the children are surrounded with a positive attitude towards learning a foreign language and stimulated by an interest in another culture in a fun and imaginative way.

Why Spanish?

Spanish is the second most widely spoken language in the world. An increase in foreign travel and people buying properties abroad means that Spanish is rapidly becoming the most beneficial language to learn and there is an increasing demand for the language to be taught in schools.
